Back Once Again With The Renegade Master

Hello Internet! It's been a while.

...unless you follow me on Bluesky in which case it's been a few hours. But it's been a while since I've actively had a website or a blog or any sort of long form creative outlet beyond snarky shitposting in the 140-280 character range.

That changes today! There's an awful lot going on in AI-land - there has been for a few years and frankly it's been overwhelming trying to deal with this many people being On My Lawn all at once. Important things are happening though, and it's time I wrote more about them. And also, some not so important things that are maybe going to be interesting.

So what can you expect from here? Well I'm probably going to talk about AI a bit naturally, and I'm going to be talking about some of my adventures with what is rapidly becoming a fairly sprawling self-hosted "home lab". I'll likely have thoughts about D&D I want to share as that is consuming a large part of my personal life, as well as talking about games I'm playing (such as Blue Prince, which might be the best game I've played in... possibly ever?). Also grilling. There's going to be a lot of grilling this year.

Of course, no post to any website with my name on it would be complete without at least one of the pups putting in an appearance. Jaina has been enjoying the weather picking up in California, and Mal has been taking every opportunity to explore under as many bushes and flowers as he can find. Followed by some of the most angelic looking naps you could possibly imagine.
